The Barrington Tops near Newcastle are the last of the mountain ranges to catch the winter snows. I had spent the night camped on a high ridge, but somehow managed to flatten the car battery. While waiting for assistance, I photographed the beautiful forest which was silently waiting for the mist to lift.
